Olivia Rodrigo seems to have put rumours of a feud between her and Taylor Swift to bed with a single tap of her phone days after both stars appeared at the 2025 Grammys.
Eagle-eyed fans caught the Déjà Vu singer, 21, liking an Instagram post dedicated to Swift, 35, less than 48 hours after the awards show aired.
The post in question was a single video of the Fortnight singer’s glambot moment from the Grammys red carpet, which was shared by the fan account @taylorerastour.

It showed Swift posing in a sparkling red mini dress with a ‘T’ charm dangling around her left thigh as she stared down the slow-motion camera with a hand on her hip, then turned to smile over her shoulder.

Fans went into a frenzy when they realised Rodrigo had given the post a ‘like’, commenting on the original post and sharing screenshots to the r/TrueSwifties Reddit forum.
“OLIVIA RODRIGO LIKED OMG,” one Instagram comment read, followed by another which said, “THIS IS WHAT WEVE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR.”

One Swift fan wrote on Reddit, “This is so great to see! I hope this means that if they did have some sort of beef (which, [of course], nobody actually knows if they did or not) it’s in the past.”
So, were Rodrigo and Swift ever actually feuding? Honestly, no one is sure.

The two singers seemed to be friendly when Rodrigo first came onto the scene and she was open about the fact Swift had inspired her to pursue a music career in the first place.
Swift and Rodrigo met in person for the first time at the 2021 BRIT Awards, the younger star calling their interaction “really sweet and personal”.
But when Swift set off on her Eras Tour, Rodrigo was not on the list of VIP guests and her former love rival, Sabrina Carpenter, was even chosen as Swift’s opening act.
Fans were surprised by the switch because the Drivers License singer looked perfectly poised to become Swift’s protégé, only for the Love Story songstress to take Carpenter under her wing instead.
It didn’t help that Rodrigo was was forced to give Swift and Jack Antonoff writing credits on select songs due to copyright concerns, a situation neither she nor Swift ever directly addressed.

Behind-the-scenes Grammys and after party moments you missed
If there was any bad blood (see what we did there?) between the two music industry heavyweights, it looks like it’s well and truly in the past now.
Swift was spotted giving Rodrigo a standing ovation when she performed her ballad Vampire at the 2024 Grammys and now Rodrigo has returned the love by liking the post from a Swift fan account days after the 2025 ceremony.
At this rate, we might even get a photo of the two of them cuddled up together at next year’s ceremony.
