Reality television star Teddi Mellencamp has shared shock health news in a candid statement to her one million Instagram followers.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum revealed in a post this morning doctors have discovered multiple tumours in her brain. She will undergo emergency surgery today.
Mellencamp was previously diagnosed with skin cancer in 2022, a health journey she has been open about over the last few years.

“For the last several weeks I’ve been dealing with severe and debilitating headaches. Yesterday the pain was unbearable and required hospitalision,” Mellencamp began her typed out message.
The multiple brain tumours were found after Mellencamp had CT and MRI scans done.
The star said doctors believe the tumours have “been growing for at least six months.”
“Two of the tumors will be surgically removed today – the remaining smaller tumors will be dealt with via radiation at a later date,” she shared.
“I am blessed to be surrounded by my children, family, friends, doctors, nurses, and surgeons who are doing everything possible to get me back into better health.”

Mellencamp thanked those who had reached out and supported her.
The reality TV alum shared several photos and video to her Instagram Story taken from hospital ahead of surgery.
“Counting down the minutes until my babies get here,” the star wrote on one Story with a photo of her in bed in a hospital gown.

Mellencamp shares three children with her ex-husband Edwin Arroyave.
“As my dad said this AM, God only gives hard stuff to those of us who can handle it,” she continued the caption. Her dad is American singer John Mellencamp.
“It’s a hard day but I have faith and amazing surgeons and know everything will be OK.”
Posting from her hospital room in a follow-up video, Mellencamp included a clip of her head being shaved before the operation.

Days earlier, she urged others to keep on top of their health as she marked World Cancer Day with a candid social media post.
Mellencamp shared a photo of the surgery scar on her shoulder, telling her followers to “get your skin checks scheduled.”

The star spoke about her melanoma battle on the The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Podcast after 20 surgeries.
“[The last appointment] It was the first time I haven’t had melanoma… it was really big news,” she said.
