TikTok couples have a way of really getting under my skin. I don’t know if it’s the very-clearly-staged expressions of love or recording TikTok trends proving that they should actually break up, but I truly cannot stand a majority of TikTok couples that push relationship content. At first, I thought it was because I was a little bitter. Not only were these people in “seemingly” loving relationships, but they were also making a shit ton of money off of them — so maybe I was just a hater. But then, as I stayed adamant about hitting “Not Interested” on all of their videos, eventually, other couples popped up on my FYP. And lo and behold, I could tolerate these couples. Actually — better yet — I enjoyed their content.
A lot of relationship content on TikTok seems forced and disingenuous — which is a big reason why (even as a sex and dating writer) I tend to scroll past it. But I’ve found a few couples that don’t seem to push content just for the sake of likes and follows — they genuinely seem like they’re in love and are just documenting their lives together. And as someone who was an avid follower of the Jared and Savannah relationship (you just had to be there), I could get on board with couples that didn’t make me wish for the TikTok ban to come faster.
Here’s a ranking of some of our favorite TikTok couples that actually won’t make you cringe.
6. Maya And Hunter Leppard
@maya.and.hunter i needed this tbh #couplestiktok #couple #relationship #marriage #marriagegoals #couplegoals #relationshipgoals #husbandandwife ♬ original sound – Maya + Hunter
If you like watching a perfect example of how kind and socially aware someone’s partner should be, Maya and Hunter are honestly a breath of fresh air. Sure, they do a few TikTok dances and skits, but they’re so simple and chill that I really don’t mind it.
5. Dakota and Jackson Wright
@printfairyChilis for dinner with hubby♬ original sound – dakotawright
This couple does less couple content and more just goes around to different restaurants and vlogs their meals. However, the southern accents and the attitudes make their content perfect for anyone who wants to witness love but not have it shoved in their faces (the way they do to Chili’s).
4. Levi Coralynn and William Conrad
@levi_coralynn♬ original sound – Levi Coralynn
My favorite kind of relationships are the ones where a woman is being catered to and obsessed over — and Levi and William definitely fit the bill. He will cook her these extravagant, gorgeous meals and then also serve them to her on a literal platter as she’s sitting dressed to the nines in their kitchen.
3. Erika Priscilla And Scott Corizzi
@erikaxpriscilla 🤭 @Scotty #fyp ♬ original sound – Erika Priscilla
I love Erika and Scotty because they’re actually funny. It’s not like, they try to be funny and flop — I watch their videos and actually laugh. If they are taking part in some sort of cringe TikTok trend… it’s usually just to point out how ridiculous it is. And that, I’m here for.
2. Brynne Marie And Mario Mirante
@brynnemarieeee I hope you’re ready for us @Resorts World Las Vegas ♬ original sound – brynne
Brynne is the TikTok baddie who gave us those videos (you know, where she swings her arms and transitions into a flawless makeup look). And when she met Mario, her content got even better. They don’t really do gimmicky videos or try too hard — they’re just both so ridiculously obsessed with each other that it shows on screen. They haven’t been together that long, but they’re still cute enough to make it to No. 2.
1. Monet McMichael And Jalen Noble
@monetmcmichael the best dinner i’ve made yet omg 🍲💕 this creamy tortellini soup is to DIE FORRRR!!! u have to try it 😭 ingredients 1 yellow onion 5 cloves garlic grass fed beef tortellini tomato paste sundried tomatoes cherry tomatoes cream cheese heavy cream chicken broth parmesan cheese lemon flour basil parsley spinach sourdough bread preferred spices! ib @moribyan ♬ original sound – monet mcmichael 🤍
I mean, of course, they were going to be at the top of my list. It’s not only that both Monet and Jalen are ridiculously hot, but they just seem so down-to-earth. They don’t really try to do weird skits or voiceovers, they just document their time together in a way that feels authentic to them. Plus, they showcase their individual personalities outside of their relationship, which definitely makes them feel like real people instead of weird TikTok couple robots.
