Casual observers of the sport were suddenly enmeshed in the messy and tumultuous personal life of the athlete when news of his extramarital endeavors became public, and while the dust has settled since his relationship scandals broke all those years ago, Tiger is once again the talk of the town thanks to his alleged pairing with Vanessa Trump. Elin Nordegren
It was in 2001 when Tiger was first introduced to the woman who would become his wife and the mother to his two children, Elin Nordegren. The stunning blonde was a former model who was working as a nanny to fellow pro golfer Jesper Parnevik when she was introduced to Tiger, and it wasn’t long before they began dating. In 2004, they tied the knot. In 2007, they welcomed daughter Sam, and a few years later in 2009 came son Charlie. A few months later, reports that Tiger had several affairs outside of his marriage broke, and in 2010, they divorced.
Though a messy ordeal, Tiger has spoken fondly of his ex over the years. “As years and years have gone by, we’re like best friends,” he told TIME back in 2015. “It’s fun. She talks to me about her life, I talk to her about my life. We try and help each other out on all occasions. And we work through it with the kids, the parenting program. She is one of my best friends now, and it’s all because of my kids. We’ve worked so hard, and I’ve shown her how much I love them. We’ve worked so hard at co-parenting, to make sure that their lives are fantastic.”
Rachel Uchitel
After Tiger’s affairs became public, it wasn’t long before news of his extramarital relationship with Rachel Uchitel spread. “One moment doesn’t define your life…And I don’t like to be branded as a mistress,” she told Extra back in 2021. “I don’t like to be branded as a homewrecker—That’s not who I am. I’m a 45-year-old woman. I made one wrong turn 10 years ago…I didn’t throw somebody down the stairs. I didn’t kill someone. I made a mistake. Everybody makes mistakes.” She continued, “I was not a mistress and I was in a real relationship, and I want people to leave me alone about it. I made a bad decision. And I regret it, and I’m embarrassed about it and…my apology is to two people, not the world, two people.”
Lindsey Vonn
Woods dated former Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn from 2013 to 2015, and in 2022, Vonn revealed that the duo were still friends. “I just think, generally, it’s really difficult to date anyone in the public eye, and I’ve always been a really open person. But I think I learned that there’s some things that need to be kept private,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “And as much as I didn’t want to share everything that makes me happy and all the fun times that I had, that’s also just for me and my partner, and I didn’t need to share that. So it’s difficult, obviously, being in this position because everyone wants a scoop and no one wants to know what I’m doing.”
Erica Herman
Tiger Woods was with Erica Herman from 2017 to 2023, and throughout their time together, they experienced many highs and many lows, including Tiger’s recovery from his 2021 car accident in which he severely injured his leg. However, things came to a head in 2023 when she filed two lawsuits against the golfer after they had broken up, one in which she asked to nullify an NDA she signed in the early days of the relationship on the grounds of the Speak Out Act, which allows for such a thing in the case of sexual assault or harassment. Ultimately, she dismissed the lawsuit, saying she was not a victim of these things at the hands of Woods.
Vanessa Trump
Tiger’s most recent romantic endeavor is with none other than Vanessa Trump, former wife of Donald Trump Jr. Though it seems their relationship is in the early stages, the two are connected by Tiger’s son Charlie and Vanessa’s daughter Kai, who run in the same golf circuits, reported Daily Mail.
