Simone Johnson, 23: Johnson’s eldest warms his heart
Dwayne Johnson’s firstborn daughter, Simone, is not only accomplished in her own right, but the 23-year-old has followed in her famous father’s footsteps! The eldest Johnson daughter made her WWE debut under the name Ava, and it’s safe to say she shares the same skill and charisma as her wrestling legend father! The actor and wrestler got candid on an appearance on Kevin Hart’s Hart to Heart, opening up about the moment Simone approached him and expressed her interest in wrestling.

“That was a special moment when my daughter Simone said, ‘I want to get in the business.’ Much like I said that years before her. ‘What business?’ ‘The wrestling business.’ I said, ‘I love it.’ Immediately, I loved it, it was a great sense of pride as a father, but then, of course, as a parent you start to think about all the pitfalls, all the hardships, all that she’s going to go through because I’ve lived that business.” He continued, “At the same time, as her father, I have enough confidence to know that I have instilled in her, from what I knew, values, philosophy, and work ethic. I am so proud. She made that decision when she was 16. She was ready to go.”

Dwayne Johnson has two youngsters who keep him busy
With his wife Lauren Hashian, Johnson has welcomed two more girls to his bunch—and this doting dad couldn’t love it more! Both 9-year-old Jasmine and 6-year-old Tiana keep his hands full, between tea parties and princess-oriented fun, and fans have loved seeing the glimpses of his life he’s shared over social media with his crew. Just a few weeks ago, the actor shared a video on Instagram of him cutting the cake at his youngest, Tia’s, birthday. When it slipped off the serving tray, he was met with a handful of girlish screams before Dad saved the day—and nothing encapsulates having young daughters quite like that! “You know I’m not letting a bunch of little girls grow up telling a story about how ‘The Rock killed our birthday cake,’” he wrote in the caption. “Their high-pitched shrieks in unison is the perfect way to spike your adrenaline! Happy Birthday to my youngest tornado, Tia!”

Another long-running joke he would document on social media was his youngest’s lack of belief in the fact that he was the voice behind Maui in the Moana films. Luckily, she put the pieces together, and both she and her sister Jasmine even had a role in the sequel!
While the days of being caked in makeup by his two youngest kiddos differ greatly from his days spent in the ring, being a girl dad has changed this star for the better. “There’s nothing like the relationship between a father and his daughter,” he told People in 2021. “The most important thing I’ve learned about raising daughters is just be there, how important that is. Having an expanded capacity to listen and be more tender and gentle and being present really gave me that ability to solve whatever the issue is, but solve it with them, compared to trying to solve it for them.”
