Just last week, Julie Bishop thrilled her followers when she shared some glamorous snaps of herself with American supermodel Tyra Banks.
The pair posed for pictures together out the front of Nobu restaurant in Sydney during a night out.
And now Banks, 51, has reflected on meeting the former Australian politician, 68, during an appearance on KIIS FM’s Kyle and Jackie O.

During the chat, Banks sang Bishop’s praises and called her “really fun and sweet”.
“Oh my gosh, she is amazing,” Banks began.
“She’s like the Condoleezza Rice, you know, the Hillary Clinton of Australia. And through a mutual friend, we had dinner, like a casual dinner,” she said.
“He’s like, ‘I want you to meet my friend’.”

Banks went on to say she was “nervous” and “excited” to meet Bishop, the former Minister for Foreign Affairs.
“And I was like, ‘Oh my God’. Like, nervous and excited. And I was like, this woman is my home girl. She cares about people. She’s warm, she’s funny,” she said.
“We were taking pictures, and I was like, her legs were looking so sexy. And I’m like, ‘You know, your legs are looking so sexy’. And she just giggled.

“I mean, she was just really fun and sweet.”
Last week, Bishop shared some stunning snaps of the duo from their night out at Nobu, captioning the post: “The fabulous Tyra Banks ♥️.”

“Very cool!!” one follower wrote.
Another added: “Icons only!”
During the radio interview, Banks also spoke about how she was discovered in high school in Los Angeles.
“I was discovered on the first day of high school in Los Angeles,” she said, explaining she was discovered by a fellow student and model.
“She was like, ‘Are you a model? And I was like, ‘What? What are you talking about? I’m the awkward, weird, skinny girl’,” she said.
“And yeah, she changed my life by discovering me.”
Supermodel sneaks into Sydney for a visit
The former America’s Next Top Model host has had huge success in modelling, walking for the likes of Chanel, Marc Jacobs, Victoria’s Secret and Christian Dior throughout her career.
She even went on to host her own talk show, called The Tyra Banks Show.
Banks recently made a triumphant return to the runway for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show last year.
It’s been reported the supermodel has been secretly living in Australia in recent months ahead of opening an ice cream store in Sydney.
