Natalie Mordovtseva and Josh Weinstein were one of the most chaotic couples cast on 90 Day: The Last Resort Season 2. They were the only unmarried couple to join the retreat, which confused some viewers. While they originally met on 90 Day: The Single Life, their relationship had been on and off for about three years.
During the last group therapy session of the retreat, Josh decided it was time to end things with Natalie for good. But what happened to the former couple after leaving the resort? Did they rekindle their romance again? Or are things between Natalie and Josh finally over?
Why did Josh Weinstein break up with Natalie Mordovtseva on The Last Resort?
Throughout the retreat, Natalie and Josh struggled to find common ground. They started off on the wrong foot after Sophie Sierra revealed that Josh had recently slid into her DMs. Josh was flirtatious in the messages and even invited Sophie to Las Vegas. After reading the messages, Natalie was understandably distraught. However, she took her anger out on Sophie, which caused a rift between her and most of the women on the retreat.
As the season continued, Josh felt overwhelmed by some of Natalie’s behaviors. During the camping retreat, Natalie claimed Josh was body-shaming her by not wanting to cuddle while they slept. Josh insisted it was a misunderstanding, as he wasn’t a fan of being touched while sleeping. While Natalie may have been overreacting at some points, Josh wasn’t innocent either. At some points, it seemed like he was more interested in bonding with the men on the retreat instead of working on his relationship.
During the group’s last night out, Josh was all over Natalie. This was a big change from his behavior toward her for the rest of the season. However, shortly after, at the last group therapy session everything changed. Josh admitted that he felt his heart wasn’t fully with Natalie and that he was scared of committing to her. While visibly disappointed, Natalie ultimately thanked Josh for finally being honest with her. Natalie really loved Josh but he seemed to always be keeping her at arm’s length. At the end of the day, Josh contributed to his relationship problems with Natalie as much as she did, if not more.
What happened to Josh after leaving The Last Resort Season 2?
Many fans are curious as to whether or not Josh has a new girlfriend following his split from Natalie. The Last Resort Season 2 was filmed last spring, so it’s certainly possible he’s moved on within the last year. In early March, Josh was recently spotted with a younger woman at an airport in Las Vegas. The woman’s identity has not been revealed but she doesn’t appear to be someone from the 90 Day Fiancé franchise. The pair were headed to Phoenix, which is where Josh resides.
While Josh didn’t find love at The Last Resort, he did find friendship. Josh has since formed the “90 Day Bad Boys” group with Rob Warne and Jamal Menzies. Rob was also at the retreat, along with Sophie. It’s ironic that Josh and Rob became so close after Josh slid into Sophie’s DMs. Anyways! The group has also made videos with Biniyam Shibre, who participated in the retreat as well. Even if Josh couldn’t succeed in romance, at least he found a bromance!
Is Natalie dating anyone new after her split from Josh?
Since leaving The Last Resort, Natalie doesn’t seem to be dating anyone new just yet. However, she could just be keeping any potential new relationships under wraps for the time being. While Natalie can be a bit dramatic on the show, she has always been rather private on social media.
Natalie has also been focusing on much more than her love life recently. In a hilarious comedy skit on Instagram, Natalie documented her journey of finally making it to Las Vegas. This was a central part of her story with Josh on The Last Resort, so it’s nice to see her be able to have a sense of humor about it. More recently, Natalie has traveled to the Dominican Republic with friends. It’s good to see Natalie getting out and moving on with her life after her break-up with Josh.
