On February 15, the acclaimed record producer took to Instagram to post a video, showcasing what he did for his fiancé on the special romantic day. Since then, the video has gone viral due to the unexpected nature of the V-Day gift. It was indeed a “cheesy” surprise for the “Emilia Pérez” star.
Selena Gomez isn’t a flowers girl, so he did this for Valentine’s Day
A unique and quite literally “cheesy” gift awaited Selena Gomez on this Year’s Valentine’s Day. The singer-actor’s fiancé Benny Blanco had it all planned to give her a fun surprise. In the caption of the now viral Instagram video, the record producer revealed that Gomez is not much into flowers for V-Day and hence, he thought of this quirky plan. The caption wittily read, “when your fiancé isnt much of a flowers girl.”
The video began with Benny Blanco capturing a trail of nachos on the floor, which he himself created. It was soon disclosed that the music producer had written “I love (love sign) you” on the floor of another room using the nachos.
After that, Blanco showcased a big bathtub full of what appeared to be a cheesy queso dip sauce. The video concluded with Benny Blanco taking a piece of nacho from a bowl kept beside the tub and dipping it into the queso within the tub before taking a bite out of it. He even added his and Selena Gomez’s brand-new song “Scared Of Loving You” to the clip as the video’s music.
The couple surprised fans by releasing the new love song just a day before Valentine’s Day. They also declared their upcoming joint album titled “I Said I Love You First“. The album is all set to debut on March 21.
