For years, die-hard Spice Girls fans have been begging the iconic girl group for a reunion.

Now fans could finally be getting everything they’ve wished for.

Appearing on 2Day FM’s The Jimmy & Nath Show with Emma, Mel C, AKA Sporty Spice said the band’s hit single Wannabe will be turning 30, so the girls are in discussions to “do something special”.

What happened to the Spice Girls?

Mel C, Mel B, Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell-Horner formed Spice Girls in London back in 1994.

In 2019, the group reunited for a UK stadium tour, but Victoria Beckham was noticeably absent from the shows.

The interview comes five months after Mel B made some tongue-in-cheek comments about her bandmates after they decided not to reunite for a special 30-year anniversary tour.

According to The SunMel, who recently said she was kicked out of the band’s WhatsApp group chat, called Emma Bunton, Victoria Beckham, Mel C and Geri Halliwell Horner “dickheads” during an appearance on Never Mind The Buzzcocks ’90s special.

She reportedly said she got kicked out of the chat because she keeps bringing up the idea of a reunion tour, which fans would love but the girls supposedly aren’t keen on.

“Because I’m Northern and say what I think and feel and I’m constantly saying to the girls, ‘We need to go back on tour’,” she said.
