Bravo fans are wondering when exactly Top Chef is returning with a new season, and it turns out that Top Chef Season 22 is right around the corner. Not to be confused with Top Chef Canada, Top Chef returns with a season titled Destination Canada. It was filmed in several locations throughout the country, including Toronto, Montreal, and more. But when is the new Top Chef season coming to screens?
When is Top Chef coming back?
Top Chef returns with a new season on March 13, 2025, at 9/8c on Bravo.
Kristen Kish will host Top Chef Season 22, with head judge Tom Colicchio and perennial judge Gail Simmons also on board.
Viewers can expect to see Top Chef’s new season award the biggest prize in the series’ history. As well as the usual $250,000, a Food & Wine magazine feature, and a Food & Wine Classic appearance in Aspen, the winner gets $125,000 Delta Air Lines credits. Not only that, but they’re awarded a headlining dinner in New York City’s James Beard House, and a presenting opportunity at the James Beard Restaurant and Chef Awards in Chicago. Cash prizes over $150,000 are also up for all contestants throughout the new season.
A total of 15 chefs will be battling it out when Top Chef returns to Bravo. The majority hail from the United States, but one is born and living in Montreal, Quebec, participating. Will the season being filmed in Canada provide them with an advantage? Only time will tell.
