Where Is ‘White Lotus’ Season 3 Filmed? Four Seasons Thailand

Hello, my fellow maladaptive daydreamers, it’s time to tune into another season of pretending rich people get what they deserve on White Lotus! The best part of Mike White’s murder-happy fever dream is that before someone preemptively kicks the bucket, there will be lots of gorgeous international scenery to soak up while I say “Well if I was a wealthy brat staying at The White Lotus, I’d be different.” The way these fictional resorts have made me want to run away hand in hand with Jennifer Coolidge on a Vespa probably should be studied by a scientist (or a therapist hehe) but right now all I have is the internet which brings me to my very important discovery. The White Lotus in Thailand is a real place you can go to like right now, even if you have to borrow Jennifer’s black card (I know she has one) to do it. I’m unveiling the details of where White Lotus season 3 was filmed  to encourage you to stop being poor <3.

The third season of White Lotus was filmed in several luxury Thailand hotels including the Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui (for the Ratliff fam’s rooms and main hang out spots), the Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas (specifically their wellness spa, Singing Bird Lounge, lobby and more) and Villa Jacinta, also in Koh Samui. The last two seasons of White Lotus in Italy and Hawaii used the Four Seasons as a set, so it makes sense production ran it back for another stunning beachside location for season 3. The cast and crew also filmed on location in Southeast Asian cities like Bangkok, Phuket (Na Nui Beach, Cafe Del Mar, and Bangla Voxing), and Koh Samui (the National Marine Park). HBO graciously laid out the full list of locations here.

How much does it cost to stay at the Four Seasons in Thailand?

The Four Seasons Koh Samui, which boasts “sandy beaches bordered by tropical greenery and calm blue seas,” can cost anywhere between $1,200 and $10K a night depending on the size of your room or villa. I personally find “honey funds” at weddings to be a bit tacky, but if it gets you to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world where you can have cocktails by the infinity pool while overlooking the Gulf of Siam, honestly girl, just do it.

For those ballin’ on a budget, the Anatara has a lot more reasonable options, with rooms priced as low as $300 at the most petite size. Pretty sure paradise will look just as good from their chic poolside casitas surrounded by green.

Villa Jacinta appears to be a privately owned, massive, Love Island-worthy mansion. It’s giving modern, it’s giving clean, it’s giving wait, how many white collar criminals have stayed here??? Gather a group of your closest friends, and that $2K a night price tag might not be so heinous.
