On March 26, the midwestern pop princess sat down with Alex Cooper for a truly iconic episode of Call Her Daddy, and she spilled the tea about her type in women, her sex life, and her current relationship status. Apparently, Chappell’s been dating a girl for more than six months now, and it’s “serious.” But who TF is this mystery girl? Is she another celeb? A rando? Who Is Chappell Roan Dating?
Chappell didn’t reveal the identity of her girlfriend, but she did share that she’s “very in love” with this girl and met her through a friend a while ago. “I haven’t dated someone since this all really, really blew up,” she told Alex. “I’m dating the same person that I was dating before I blew up. I’m not sure how I would date now. I think it would actually be a nightmare. I think I would be so fucking single right now.”
When Alex asked her who made the first move, Chappell replied: “In every circumstance, I make the first move.” She also opened up about her sex life. “I do everything for my girlfriend,” she said, smiling. She noted that she likes to “give first” in the bedroom.
Although she’s super in love, you won’t catch Chappell and her GF engaging in any PDA. She’s just really not about that. “Don’t fuckin’ do that,” she warned on the podcast. “Don’t. Actually, legit don’t. I just got really stressed out.” Period.
Back in September 2024, Chappell told Rolling Stone that she had a new love interest who was “completely outside” of the music industry. “She’s so awesome and so secure in herself and [has told me] ‘No pressure, we can just be friends if you want,’” she said at the time. “I’m just running around like a chicken with my head cut off. I’m just like, ‘What? I can’t get married!’ It is that type of delusion right now.” Seems like it ended up working out well (assuming this is the same person).
Chappell Roan’s Type
When Chappell shared her type on Call Her Daddy, it sounded like she was describing a specific person. “I love art girls, like weird art girls, girls who love to read and who are very niche,” she dished. “I like a girl that collects things and is okay with an exotic pet, owned a hamster one time and would own one again.” She also noted that she likes girls who don’t “give a fuck about their car” and aren’t “scared of bugs and snakes.” Plus, it’s essential that the girl likes foreign films.
