Deal or No Deal Island Season 2 has been nothing short of spectacular. The twists that the Banker has introduced have kept players on edge. Host and Game Master Joe Manganiello broke down the challenges, and the shocking twists, for all the competitors.
Plus, the physical challenges have leveled up. As a result, the players’ social game and strategy have also evolved. For all these reasons, Deal or No Deal Island Season 2 needs a reunion. Let’s face it, alliances formed from the jump this season. We even had some people in multiple alliances. In addition, three reality TV legends also competed to battle the Banker for the final case, worth millions of dollars.
Some contestants knew Survivor winner Parvati Shallow’s resume, while Australia Survivor winner David Genat flew under the radar. Then, Big Brother winner Dr. Will Kirby entered the game late, sporting a tux. That man loves an entrance! And while he endeared himself to a few guests, his plan to create chaos succeeded.
In addition, several players engineered blindsides, and others were involved in nasty feuds. So, let’s discuss why Deal or No Deal Island Season 2 needs a reunion. Do it for the fans!
Why Deal or No Deal Island viewers want to see players discuss their beef
Season 2 of the show kept viewers in suspense. And part of that Deal or No Deal Island drama was (spoiler alert) related to several messy feuds. Parvati couldn’t stand Dr. Will after he outed her Survivor history to the other contestants. And she wasn’t alone. Courtney Kim (CK) also didn’t get along with Dr. Will. She believed that he thought he was better than everyone else.
During an explosive Temple, before she played the Banker, CK outed the other players’ game. She told the group that Alexis Lete, along with Seychelle Cordero, and Phillip Solomon, convinced Dr. Will to eliminate Maria-Grace Cook (M.G.) That led to a spicy confrontation between CK and Phillip, which resulted in the best speech of the season (so far).
In addition, Phillip and Parvati’s bond as an excursion power couple ended after Parvati weaponized Phillip’s history of being bullied. For the rest of the game, Phillip and Parvati took swipes at one another.
Of course, Deal or No Deal Island fans would love to find out what happened with these beefs. Did Phillip ever accept Parvati’s apology? Is CK still smarting from Seychelle’s fiery rant after her elimination? Maybe these feuds were left behind on the island. Unfortunately, viewers may never know the answers to these questions.
Deal or No Deal Island’s CK may be getting a rough edit
Deal or No Deal Island contestant CK is one of the more controversial guests this season. She is a corporate banker and professional poker player, which she kept under wraps. While CK is highly intelligent, she also made some rookie mistakes.
When the guests had to draw another player’s name out of the bag, CK cheated and looked for Lete’s name. Of course, Joe clocked her, and Lete was disgusted that CK cheated. However, CK panicked when Lete wouldn’t commit to getting a case to ensure CK’s safety.
So, CK was upset that all the guests were lying. Duh! As a result, she revealed the plan to oust M.G. at Temple, and spilled all the tea about the High-Five alliance. Of course, Lete was livid, and Phillip unloaded his famous Harriet Tubman speech after CK prodded him.
According to CK’s bestie in the game, La Shell Wooten, CK took the captain’s case for an unselfish reason. Both Lete and CK were team captains, and CK sent Dickson Wong to retrieve a case knowing that it had no cash value. However, it would award safety to the team captain. So, CK put her team in danger of facing the Banker but kept herself safe.
“What people didn’t know … CK’s goal was to get women to the finals, right? And if she got safety, then all the women were safe because all the women were on the other team,” La Shell explained. “So this was just another step in her strategic plan.”
Of course, fans didn’t see an explanation of CK’s plan on air, so it looked like she was being selfish. Every season, there seems to be one player whose edit is unflattering. Apparently, it is CK’s turn this season. In an Instagram post, CK wrote, “Cheers to top 6 … I’ve been “next” to go home since ep.3 … keep trying.”
Why viewers deserve to know about the alliances that never aired on Deal or No Deal Island

Deal or No Deal Island focused heavily on Parvati, David, Dickson, and M.G.’s alliance, dubbed the Family. Naturally, Parvati and David were the parents, and Dickson and M.G. were the kids. What viewers didn’t see very much of was the island’s other main alliance.
In fact, the Family had no idea there was another strong alliance operating. Seychelle, Phillip, Luke Olejniczak, Storm Wilson, and Lete were all part of the High-Five alliance, which began on day one. This alliance was born because these players were all sleeping in the blue dome. How convenient!
After Dr. Will made a deal with CK that he would keep her safe, he and Storm convinced Dickson to play the Banker. And if Dickson won, he would eliminate CK. Instead, Dickson slayed in The Temple and went rogue. He sent home his buddy Storm instead.
Next, Seychelle orchestrated an incredible blindside. She was always wary of the Family and tried to find a way to break up that quartet. So, when Dr. Will was going to play the Banker, Seychelle suggested that he take out M.G. to strike a blow against the powerful alliance.
Of course, Seychelle knew that it would hurt Deal or No Deal Island players David and Parvati if sweet M.G. went home. Then, she brought CK into the High-Five discussion. It was this meeting that CK mentioned at the heated Temple where she argued with Lete and Phillip before sending Seychelle packing.
It would be fascinating for fans to learn if there were more secret alliances behind the scenes. Finding out more about the players’ strategic decisions would be incredible for viewers. After all, there is always tons of footage that never makes air. Plus, learning Joe’s thoughts about what transpired during the season would also be interesting. And that is why Deal or No Deal Island Season 2 needs a reunion!
Deal or No Deal Island is available to stream on Peacock.
