Rita Ora’s Lace-Up Do Long Corset Gown Couldn’t Be More Transparent

Rita Ora makes a dramatic entrance at the premiere of “Descendants: Wicked Wonderland” in Los Angeles. She caught everyone’s attention with her stunning transparent corset gown designed by Vietnamese designer Du Long. The singer and actress, who stars in the Disney film, embraced the bold red carpet moment in a look that was impossible to ignore due to its daring sheer construction.

Rita Ora’s do-long corset gown at the ‘Descendants: Wicked Wonderland’ premiere was a total sight to behold

Custom strapless design featured a structured corset bodice red pink base. It was layered beneath a bold crimson lace-up panel that stretched vertically from the neckline to the hem. The sculptural red boning created the illusion of a lace-up corset, while the mostly naked mesh underneath was completely visible. Thus giving the gown an almost completely transparent appearance.

The fitted silhouette hugged Rita Ora’s figure through the hips before she flared into a dramatic mermaid skirt. The bottom half was transformed into shimmering burgundy velvet with a glossy finish. As she walked the carpet it flowed into an oversized train, adding dramatic volume and movement. Bright red embellishments cover one side of the skirt and extend onto matching super short gloves, giving the look even more dimension.

Ora paired the gown with dazzling diamond earrings and kept the rest of her accessories minimal. She showed off a sleek platinum-blonde bob styled with a deep side part. It was secured with a single hair clip. For her beauty look she opted for bronze makeup, glossy nude lips and soft defined eyes. It complemented the deep red tone of the gown.

The actress posed with her husband, filmmaker Taika Waititi, who opted for a casual monochromatic look consisting of a light gray jacket, matching trousers, a white T-shirt and white sneakers.

Ora’s Do Long creation delivered one of the boldest fashion moments at the “Descendants: Wicked Wonderland” premiere.
