Meghan Markle to join MasterChef Australia as guest judge on July 26
Endemol Shine Australia and Channel 10 announced Markle’s TV appearance on Instagram. She will appear on the July 26 episode of MasterChef Australia at 7pm. The caption reads, “The countdown has begun! Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, joins the #MasterChefAU kitchen as a guest judge, bringing her love of food, entertaining and seasonal produce to one of the competition’s most memorable challenges.”
Contestants must create a dish from seasonal ingredients and tell a personal story about why they chose it. one in statementMarkle addressed her reality show appearance, revealing what she liked most about it. She said, “What attracted me to MasterChef Australia Kitchen? Two things: my love of food and my love of Australia. It was an easy yes. It’s such a fantastic show. I’m really honored to have been asked to be here with you and to be able to judge some of these meals.”
The ingredients available to the contestants to create a special dish for the Duchess of Sussex included quince, lemons, apples, mandarins, strawberries, Jerusalem artichokes, Brussels sprouts, celeriac, local Australian honey and macadamia nuts. Markle will be joined by the show’s regular judges Poh Ling Yeow, Sophia Levin and Jean-Christophe Novelli. The episode was probably filmed in April while she was in Australia with Prince Harry.
In addition to the lawsuit loss, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s recent visit to the UK was also faced with security concerns and the drama of the former’s earlier Buckingham Palace stay.
