Sources close to the Sussexes discuss meeting with King Charles, despite it being private
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s ongoing criticism stems from sources close to them sharing details about their private meeting with King Charles Vanity Fair. Insiders claimed that they had an hour-long meeting and described it as “purely a conspiracy hatched by the king”. He revealed that Charles wanted to meet the grandchildren. They agreed on Friday afternoon at Highgrove House in Gloucestershire, England. He added, “It was an unusually final moment for the king. Everyone was sworn to secrecy so the meeting remained private.”
Additionally, the source said Queen Camilla also drove up to the residence at the last minute. She has been a staunch supporter of King Charles amid the royal drama. The source said, Camila attended the meeting without notifying the family and they all tried to keep the meeting as “waterproof” as possible. However, many fans took to social media to accuse the Sussexes of leaking information about the extremely private reunion.
One user wrote, “Yes – nothing says ‘shut up’ like being yelled at by a Sussex source at Vanity Fair.” Another said, “They are telling us they kept the meeting a secret, there are no leaks while there are leaks to the press. There are Hercules (joker emoji) and it’s so stupid to do that. The King wouldn’t be happy.” Other reactions included, “We’re leaking what we shouldn’t have leaked,” “And yet there’s an article in every newspaper and magazine since the meeting, at this point I have no sympathy for the King, he’s an idiot,” and “It took him less than a week. Wonder what ‘top secret’ things will be released next week?”
