Jerry O’Connell is speaking out about his separation giuliana rancic 20 years after their breakup. The 52-year-old Stand By Me star has finally addressed Rancic’s claims that he cheated on her with Geri Halliwell in her memoir Going Off Script.

according to page sixRancic claimed that when O’Connell stopped returning her calls, she went to his condominium to confront him. She alleges that he refused to let her move in and ended their relationship over the intercom, telling her, “No. Sorry, homegirl. Things change, but you keep in mind, it’s okay.”
During her appearance on SiriusXM’s Let’s Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa on July 20, recorded in front of a live audience at SiriusXM’s NYC Fishbowl, O’Connell discussed the claims when Ripa asked if she had actually ended her relationship with the reporter over an intercom.
In response, O’Connell admitted that she could not remember his exact words during their 2004 breakup after dating for a year. He further said that although the quote did not sound like him, he could not deny saying it, but he said that it “made a good quote” in a memoir.
O’Connell reported that Rancic once arrived at his condominium unexpectedly. He recalled, as quoted Just Jared, “Giuliana Rancic wanted in to my condominium. Thank God, buzzers, gates, security. I pay landlords a pretty hefty fee for these things. Cameras and everything. And I said, ‘I didn’t know you were coming. You can’t come in here without telling you.’
Note that no one had the key, so the relationship was not the same. But that’s why I didn’t like someone coming to my condominium…without an invitation or a message or a phone call.”
Rancic also wrote that he felt some remorse when O’Connell confronted him about his alleged affair with Halliwell. He compared their reaction to that of a customer service representative informing someone that their bag was lost.
Rancic also alleged that O’Connell later cheated on her with Rebecca Romijn, to whom he has been married for 19 years. The couple are parents to 17-year-old twin daughters, Dolly and Charlie.
