Prince William is “absolutely determined to get it right” as Prince George prepares to enter his teenage years, Wire Informed. Family friends said William and Kate have placed family life at the center of their plans while introducing George to royal duties. A family friend said the couple would serve the monarchy but still raise their children with “as much normality as possible”.
George will turn 13 on July 22 and will start studying at Eton College in September. Kensington Palace confirmed the decision in June after the family considered several schools. The move would place him at the same boarding school where William attended.
Change at Prince George’s Eton College will not begin without preparation. George reportedly asked to try boarding at the Lambrook School, where students could stay for selected nights. William and Kate supported the idea, and royal biographer Robert Jobson said the experience “helped them grow.”
George would also enter Eton with a more stable home life than William had during his school years. Jobson said that William came of age amid his parents’ marital conflict, while George has two parents who “built a foundation for him and protected him fiercely.”
