The Spring 2027 season of London Fashion Week brought us the long-awaited return of the McQueen label to the schedule. After many years of performing in Paris, for the first time since 2001, Sean McGirr staged the LFW Homecoming beneath the ancient vaults at Lincoln’s Inn Fields. Showcasing McQueen’s signature tailoring and futuristic edge, from metallic harnesses and devil-horn hairstyles to sharply structured peplum jackets, the collection was a celebration of McQueen’s central city, London. “This collection is a celebration of London’s consistently provocative and transcendent power,” McGirr wrote in the show notes.
