Jessel makes his presence felt by feuding with Erin and Carol. He has had bad arguments with Erin, and he even called Erin “a drunken Houdini”. Extra points for using a catchy phrase.
Unfortunately, Jessel did not realize that his attraction to Caroline Bessette and the TV drama Love Story, which chronicled Caroline’s romance and marriage to John F. Kennedy Jr., had upset Carroll.

During the RHONY brunch, Jesse asked Carole if her late best friend, Caroline, was a “b*tch.” She also repeatedly spoke about the alleged curse of the Kennedy family.
“Don’t you think the family is cursed? The father gets murdered, then the mother gets cancer,” Jessel commented. “Then they both die.” For Carroll, hearing such disrespectful discussion about her family members and best friend was too much.
Following Jessel’s comments, Carol leaves the brunch. And it appears that Jessel didn’t realize that his comments went too far. During RHONY Season 16 Episode 3, Carole and newbie Daisy Toy went for a walk to discuss brunch. Spoiler alert: Carol was not happy with Jessel.
“It was so crazy. And I didn’t even know what to say,” Carroll told Daisy. “It’s very painful. Like everyone else’s American love story, mine is an American horror story.” He added, “She’s watching that show. She knows that’s my family.”
Daisy agreed, replying, “It’s terrible and very bad.” However, Carroll really came out in his confessional. The author said, “Who talks about someone’s family like it’s an adorable cartoon? It was rude, thoughtless, insensitive.” “Does he have any brain cells in his head?”
Meanwhile, it didn’t take long for Jessel to upset his co-stars once again. Daisy hosted a Seder for Passover at her parents’ house in Brooklyn. Jessel was two hours late and arrived just as the Seder was about to begin. “This Passover dinner will be worth it. I don’t really travel deep into Brooklyn for just anyone. I’m not Jesse from the block,” Jessel quipped in his talking head, shouting out Jennifer Lopez.
While Jessel didn’t seem bothered by her late entry, Carole was quietly cooking. “Jessel is very rude. He must have been hit by a bike in the city,” she said in her confessional. “There’s no other reason to be two hours late to a three-hour dinner.”
Unless Jesse apologizes to Carol for his insensitive comments, I see the road ahead for this pair being rocky. And even with the apology, I think Carol will keep her guard up with Jessel.
