The three-piece velvet tuxedo consisted of a fitted vest, tailored blazer and matching trousers, all finished with satin-trimmed lapels. The vest’s row of black buttons cinched in his waist, while a crisp white button-down and thin black tie peeked beneath the blazer. The slightly relaxed shoulders of the blazer balance out the fitted vest, leaving her curves on full display beneath the tailoring. The matching trousers feature a subtly pleated, gathered texture down each leg, adding movement to the otherwise sharp tailoring.
The blazer itself came out slightly loose through the shoulders, giving Lopez room to layer a fitted vest underneath without losing its structured shape. That combination of a cozy jacket and a tight vest created the curve-hugging silhouette the look was known for.
Lopez kept the style monochromatic with a black velvet newsboy cap and simple stud earrings. A jeweled brooch adorning her lapel was adding some sparkle to the all-black ensemble, with its emerald-toned stone and gold chain details catching the light.
