His attorneys, Steve Sadow and Bradley Horenstein, denied the allegations.

“Mr. Roberts is innocent and has pleaded not guilty to the charges,” he said.

Ross remained in the Miami-Dade County Jail while his legal team worked toward his release. Authorities set bond at $5,000 on the felony strangulation charge and $1,000 on the misdemeanor battery charge.
