Forum Members Review Haider Ackermann’s ‘Smoldering’ Tom Ford Spring 2027 Collection

On the third day of Paris Fashion Week, Haider Ackermann presented his fourth Tom Ford womenswear runway show for Spring 2027. Appointed creative director in September 2024, Akerman’s presentations are always slow, steady, sexy, and this season’s showcase was no different. Top models Alex Kansani, Anok Yai and Malgosia Bella walked the carpeted runway at Place Vendome. Down the runway came satin bralettes, slinky gowns, sharp tailoring and swimsuits that left enough to the imagination. To heighten the spectacle, Ackerman invited Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Kate Moss, Tate McRae and Cynthia Erivo to sit in the A-list-filled front row.

Tom Ford Spring 2027 Collection Review

“I love Haider Ackermann!” (icouture)

“It was brilliant. Hader at Tom Ford is the only designer working today who matters. The only one. She has the hottest cast. Everyone else tries so hard to be fierce or killer, and they all miss the mark. Big time. Hader understands real smoldering, adult sensuality. Also loved the set of mirrored glasses. Simple idea that turns out to be so effective. The clothes are great. Beautiful, well-made, supposed to be for adults. The clothes. Hope he stays here for a long time.” (aloe)

“I can’t get enough! Wow!” (prilv)

“Well done Haider! They really brought out their ’70s P-star self this season. This is more freewheeling, cheesy, yes, but total Tom Ford! The tailoring was extraordinary, and TBH, I was impressed with the menswear. Very handsome clothes.” (lola701)

“When people said Tom Ford’s HA would be the perfect match, I never thought I’d be completely captivated by everything he does.” (Miyawaki)

“Loved it! Very charming and scary…” (xone)

“She’s done it again! Everything and everyone looks great.”*Yes, expensive, sexy, and bloodthirsty; This is unrealistic. This is luxury to the extreme, and I keep saying I want to be the person he’s presenting. It’s going to smolder.” (Salvatore)
