Lisa Vanderpump welcomes Garcelle Beauvais to her Las Vegas venture
according to E! newsSome notable details about the pair’s relationship were revealed on the October 21 finale of “Vanderpump Rules: Lisa Las Vegas.” The episode shows how Vanderpump and Beauvais’ friendship extends beyond the show to their families.
“Garcelle is exactly my kind of woman, my kind of girl,” Vanderpump says in the clip. She recalls how Beauvais asked her to give her son Oliver Saunders a job at Vanderpump à Paris. “He said, ‘I want to go to Vanderpump A Paris.’ Two months later, he was our best waiter.
Vanderpump says, “And he’s still there, and he takes it very seriously. I love that family.” Beauvais returned the affection, telling her former co-star, “I’m so excited for you. I’m so proud of you.”
Vanderpump then goes on to praise the actress for maintaining a supportive attitude in an industry often associated with rivalry. “You’re a rare breed in this business of being a supportive woman,” she says, “and that’s what I love.”
Garcelle enthusiastically agrees, “We should be!”
The conversation turns amusing after Vanderpump suggests that Saunders and his girlfriend Shantey Paranada should have another baby. However, Saunders rejected the idea, saying, “No, we’re done. We’re very happy. We’re good.”
The light-hearted reunion came a year after Beauvais announced her exit from RHOBH after five seasons. She had previously cited reasons such as spending more time with her boys and pursuing other creative projects. Beauvais also announced that being on the show was emotionally difficult, and that she felt more free after walking away from it.
