Hilary Duff Taking a glamorous trip down memory lane for her latest magazine moment. The singer and actress transformed into a Y2K-inspired dream girl for Paper Magazine, leaning into the playful aesthetic that defined an era of her career. Naturally, plenty of glitter came along for the ride.
Hilary Duff Adds Pandora Bling to Sheer Lace Micro Minidress for Paper Magazine Cover
For the Paper magazine cover, Hilary Duff slipped into a sheer lace micro minidress in a delicate lavender shade. The ultra-short number featured long sleeves and a fitted silhouette that revealed a glimpse of skin with intricate lace. The fringed detailing on the front is cascaded, adding a romantic touch to the otherwise daring look.
The micro hemline put Duff’s legs on strong display as she posed for the camera in towering black platform heels. However, the shiny jewelery arguably brings just as much personality to the cover.
Duff’s Pandora accessories were placed high on both wrists, with colorful beads, charms and metallic details creating a playful contrast against the pastel lace. The multiple colors added even more sparkle, matching the jewel-filled pink background perfectly. The paper credited the brand for the jewelry featured in the shoot.
The beauty look also became equally bold. Duff wore her blonde hair in big, retro-inspired waves with a deep side part, while dramatic purple eye makeup and a deep red lip gave the sweet style a moody edge.
The magazine cover comes as the star continues a big new chapter in her music career. In her accompanying Instagram post, Pepper noted that Duff recently performed “What Dreams Are Made Of” live for the first time, more than two decades after recording the beloved track for Lizzie McGuire. The magazine also highlighted their return to touring and the success of their latest album.
Amidst the vintage pink set, the daring lace and the plethora of Pandora jewellery, the cover feels like a playful nod to her past with an adult fashion twist.
