THIS week, Love Island stars Megan Moore and Dejon Noel-Williams officially announced they had broken up.
But now The Sun can reveal the “last straw” which led to the couple splitting up and going their own separate ways.
Dejon confirmed their break-up on Instagram on Monday morning after The Sun revealed they’d called it quits on a make-or-break holiday two weeks ago.
Shortly after Dejon spoke out, Megan appeared to hint she was unaware that Dejon would be confirming the end of their relationship as she admitted she found herself writing her statement “unexpectedly”.
A source has now told The Sun that the couple had faced several “ups and downs” in their relationship.
They also revealed what would spark arguments between them.

A source told The Sun: “Megan and Dejon’s relationship has been through so many ups and downs from the moment they left the villa.
“Ultimately once they left the bubble of the TV show there has been a lot of unnecessary ongoing jealousy and trust issues from Megan which seem to have derailed their efforts to make it work in the real world.
“There is no way Dejon would cheat on Meg, he loved her, but it got to the point where, if he was even in public with Meg and was chatting to another woman just to be polite, it would spark arguments.
“For Dejon, this was the last straw. He couldn’t keep second guessing himself and going through the same cycle.”
Earlier this month, we reported on the pair’s holiday bust-up in Egypt which saw them unfollow each other on their socials.
A friend of the pair told The Sun at the time: “Meg and Dejon have been rowing non-stop recently, but were hoping this holiday would smooth things over.
“Clearly that hasn’t worked as they have had another massive row and called it a day, even cutting all ties on socials.”
The pal added: “Holidays together can be intense for any couple so we’re hoping they manage to work things out.
“Sometimes with these two, they’re off one minute, back on the next but things aren’t great between them at all right now.
“You wouldn’t even know from their social media that they are in Egypt together, because all of the content they have been posting hasn’t had each other in it.”
Fans last saw the couple when they appeared together at the MBCC Awards on Saturday, November 29.
When Dejon confirmed the pair had split, he revealed his “great sadness” that the pair, who lasted the full Love Island season, have not worked out.
In a text post written in black font on a white background he revealed: “It is with great sadness that I have parted ways with Meg after almost seven months together.
memories, but also came with difficulties, especially being in the public eye, trying to incorporate work as a personal trainer and setting up a new business along the way.”
He added: “I wish things could have been different and this next period of adjustment will be hard for us both, but I wish Meg nothing but the best for the future.”
Meanwhile, Megan said: “To all of you, it saddens me that I’ve had to write this unexpectedly but I always want to be honest with everyone that’s supported and followed me along my journey in finding love!
“I am truly gutted to announce that mine and Dejons relationship has come to an end.
“I’m so grateful for all the good times we shared and I want to thank you all for the support and love you gave to me and us through our relationship.
“You’ve all been an amazing part of this journey
“All I ask of now is please respect my privacy and have a little patience and understanding as I try navigate this turn. Meg x.”
