As this season progressed, fans watched the rise and eventual fall of this messy love triangle, which also served as one of Joe’s main storylines. Then, during his second run on Below Deck Med, Joe finds himself locked in another difficult situation. However, this complicated romantic entanglement has caused more heat than before.

When Season 10 debuted, Kizzy Kitchener liked what she saw. But so did Victoria Sanjuan, towards whom Joe seemed attracted. His feelings for V deepened, or so he claimed. And that statement alone made many fans of Season 9 feel better about seeing their scenes, because, for V, many are already fans of Ride or Die.
A year before V began filming this series, her boyfriend Bon tragically drowned. As expected, her emotions remain scattered to this day. So, Joe does his best to remind Vee that she’s not the greatest at commitment. But then, something changed, and Joe found himself emotionally promising Vee that she was the only girl for him, and he even wanted to take her home to meet her beloved mother.
Nevertheless, when the ailing Vee took a quick break from filming during the anniversary of Bon’s passing, Joe saw her out on the yacht. But then, moments later, he brings Kizie up, deliberately turning a camera to hide the fact that he was about to cheat on Vee.

Joe shames Gail Cameron for cheating during Below Deck Med season 9
When Vee temporarily moved away, Gail Cameron arrived to take his place. As fans remember, Gail stalked Joe throughout Season 9. So, it made sense when Joe revealed that he was less than thrilled about her return to filming in Season 10.
Not helping matters, during filming Joe’s BFF, Nathan Gallagher, realized what a gem Gail really is. Nathan sees a future with Gail, which he will eventually get, as we already know they have a son, thanks to their reunion this season. However, watching Nathan and Gail rekindle their Season 9 mutuals has awakened something in Joe.
To quickly recap, at the beginning of Season 9, Gail admitted that she had a boyfriend. However, her feelings for Nathan were undeniably strong. Nathan felt the same way and they kissed. Then, Gail ends things with her man at home and falls even more for Nathan.
But when Gail returned in Season 10 Episode 12, Jo got her confession. Here he shakes his head and says, “Once a cheater, always a cheater.” While many fans were probably rolling their eyes out of their skulls, the production announced the unsung hero of the series. As this lovely person wondered, how might Gail have treated Joe differently?

Last night, episode 14 aired. This new episode finds Vee back on the yacht, relaxed and “excited” to hear everything she missed. Helping Bon honor Vee, since her return also coincided with her birthday, Ayesha Scott plans a beautiful birthday celebration for Vee. Afterwards, the crew gathered outside, with Vee gently placing flowers in the sea to honor Bon’s life.
As Vee recalls Bon, their love, and her current state of grief, her emotional words stir the rarely broken heart within Jo. So, as the boats placed their flowers in the icy, dark water below, Joe cried. He silently asked himself, “What the hell am I?”
As the credits begin to roll, V honors Bon with her words, including “all the parts of her” that he left inside her heart. Then, the camera cuts to Joe. He flees the scene, heading to a private room where he can cry openly. His departure brought another ‘Continue’ prompt on our screens.
