According to Bethenny, he became a member of her glam team and an essential member of her team. He paid tribute to his “fantastic, generous” friend on Instagram on New Year’s Day.
Bethenny wrote, “Jason Kaplan had a positive energy that was truly infectious. He was fun, lively and always brought his A game. The world lost a unique gem on New Year’s Eve, which still doesn’t feel real.”
She added, “He was the ultimate connector, introducing me to child actors, staff members, costume designers, restaurants and beauty brands – but more than that, he made people feel seen, celebrated and better about themselves.”
Jason traveled around the world with Bethenny, and she said he developed a close bond with her 15-year-old daughter, Brynn Hoppy. Bethenny said she would offer to do Bryan’s makeup whenever he saw him, as well as “gift him lip gloss and tips.”
“They loved each other,” Bethenny wrote.
