So Lisa and Braunwyn were at odds again. Perhaps this is a culmination of the latter star coming under fire for Lisa for her legal issues at the beginning of the season. And Lisa was bringing up the sensitive topic about Braunwyn’s daughter Gwen last season. The Season 5 reunion was also difficult for Braunwyn as Lisa undermined the closeness of their friendship.
Real Housewives of Salt Lake City stars Braunwyn and Lisa are not on talking terms
braunwyn gave an interview bravo headquarters Post-reunion filming. She explained the state of her and Lisa’s friendship. And it’s exactly as you’d expect it to be.
“I don’t talk to Lisa,” the fashionista admitted. “I mean, it would be hard for me to talk to Lisa because I believe she’s blocked me for everything. So I don’t know, but that’s the impression I get, because people have to take screenshots of negative comments she’s made about me. I don’t actually see them personally.”
Braunwyn tragically lost her father, David Richard Newport, in June 2025. The entire team except Lisa reached him.
“I think that kind of lets it be known that I’m not interested in anything he does at this point. If you don’t have empathy for someone who unexpectedly lost their parents, then I’m really meaningless to you. And I don’t have people in my life who treat me that way, no,” she shared.
“Despite our ups and downs, I wanted a friendship with Lisa,” the reality TV star said. “And I think you see, throughout the season… I was like Goldilocks trying to do different things with Lisa. At first, I struggled and I said, ‘Oh, if I don’t care about you, I guess you won’t mind if I bring up your lawsuits, or if I tell you I think you’re a liar.’
Braunwyn continued, “It’s not natural for me to fight like that, and so you see me apologizing to him. You see me just saying, ‘We’ll just remain civil.’ And I realized, oh, we won’t even be civilized. She continues to talk about my daughter and this really sensitive thing that I told her specifically is harmful to my child. It is sad for my family.”
However, Braunwyn “always hopes for the best for baby Gorgeous.”
