Sadly, Mama Elsa passed away in 2019. “Our beloved Elsa Patton (aka Mama Elsa) passed away over Mother’s Day weekend after a long illness,” the Patton family said in a statement. The Bravoverse mourns one of the most memorable and unique characters ever to grace our screens.

Since Mama Elsa’s death, Marisol has slowly moved on and mourned her mother. Recently they decided to sell Mama Elsa’s house. And Marisol shared a post via Instagram that was shocking to some of Mama Elsa’s fans.
The post features a video of mama Elsa talking about caviar. “It’s not just caviar. It’s a lifestyle,” Mama Elsa said. The clip showed her taking a spoonful of caviar. “Mmm… Smooth. Bold. Perfect. Just like me.”
Then the company logo appeared, as Mama Elsa was heard in voiceover. “I need money. I love money.”
Additionally, Marisol wrote in the caption, “My mother, Elsa, always believed that life should be lived beautifully – and never cheaply. Before she passed away, she shared her love for the finest things… including exceptional caviar.” She added, “Today, I’m honored to introduce Mama Elsa Caviar – created to reflect her style and her indomitable love for beauty and luxury.”
Well, fans chimed in in the comments. “Marisol… por favor. This is crazy,” one user wrote. “Not AI Mama Elsa,” commented another. A third posted: “Love her and love you but this is scary.”
Meanwhile, Marisol’s co-star and bestie Alexia Napola wrote, “Mmmm…I love it.” And RHOM cast member Kiki Barth added two heart emojis in the comments. I wonder what Andy Cohen, who adored Mama Elsa, would say about Marisol’s caviar promotion?
