In October 2025, Wendy and her husband, Eddie Osefo, were arrested. He was booked on 16 counts including fraud. The couple allegedly faked a home burglary and filed a $450,000 insurance claim for the stolen personal property. However, according to the police, these luxury items were never stolen.
Plus, it looks like Wendy will be on the hot seat during the season 10 RHOP reunion. Host Andy Cohen didn’t hold back from asking about Dr. Wendy’s arrest in the reunion trailer. Then, Karen Huger talks to Wendy about prison.
Well, Candiace took notice of Wendy’s plight during a visit to Watch What Happens Live. Of course, Andy had a questionable game in front of him. “Candiace, what was your immediate reaction when you heard the news of Wendy’s arrest?” Andy asked.
“My head spun. I was doing a news segment when I heard. So, I was getting ready to talk about a stage play, and they said, ‘We have breaking news. Can you talk about it?'” Candiace explained. “I’m thinking, ‘Oh, this is going to be, you know, somebody’s shoe.’ Of course, it must have been a surprise to know that her friend had been busted.
Candiace screamed, “My friend is going to jail! Call the police! Like, what do you mean?!” She added, “I was overwhelmed! Blown away.” I don’t think Wendy’s arrest was on anyone’s bingo card.
“Have you been in touch with him?” Andy asked. And Candiace replied, “I have. Yes.”
