Kyle Cooke worries he can’t please Amanda Batula on Summer House Season 10 Episode 1
When Kyle and Amanda announced their separation, they posted that it was a mutual decision. And during Season 10, Episode 1, it was clear that both Amanda and Kyle were having relationship problems.
Her best friends, Ciara Miller and Carl Radke, sensed her stress and pulled her aside to check on her during a Fourth of July party. Ciara sat down with Amanda and wondered if she still wanted to have kids.
Amanda did, but Kyle being missing from DJ all the time was a point of contention. She said, “I feel like you’re putting yourself in compromising situations where people are assuming the worst. To be completely honest with you, I think there’s something really hard going on for me when the entire internet is in favor of our divorce. ‘You should get a divorce, leave her, leave her.’
She added, “Like that’s what I hear all the time. And it’s like when someone tells you something multiple times you start believing it. I’m at a point right now where I don’t know if it’s my thoughts or the internet’s thoughts.”
Meanwhile, Carl meets Kyle. She felt that Kyle and Amanda were breaking up, and she wondered if Kyle was happy. Kyle said he was happy to “show people a good time, put pressure on the game”.
When asked if he thought Amanda was happy, Kyle said, “I don’t know what would make her happy. But I don’t know if I can do that. When I actually say it out loud, it becomes a little more real, and it scares me.”
