Nancy’s friend at church told her family that she did not show up for the Sunday service, after which the authorities were alerted.

In recent developments, it was reported that drops of blood were visible on the front steps of Nancy’s house, as well as the remains of an apparent Ring camera that had been removed.
Speaking in an interview with NBC’s Today show on Wednesday, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos told host Liz Kreutz that he believes Nancy is still alive.
“We have nothing but confidence that he is here,” Sheriff Chris Nanos said in an interview. “He exists. He’s alive, and we want to save him.”
Additionally, authorities confirmed yesterday that they had “no clue” about the number of possible kidnappers involved. “It could have been one. It could have been more.”
Additionally, TMZ reportedly obtained a purported ransom note from Nancy’s captors on Tuesday. According to the outlet, the note demanded millions of Bitcoins for the return of the mother of three. TMZ also said that they had checked the Bitcoin delivery address and found it to be legitimate.
Although the tabloid did not disclose the specific amount, it did report that they had passed the ransom money on to authorities. Additionally, he shared that there was a specific deadline with the added threat of “otherwise.” Pima County officials have also expressed concern for Nancy’s health given her age and existing mobility issues. He also said that it appeared that Nancy was abducted without her prescribed medication.
