Despite being part of the show, Grutman said that she and other celebrities were kept completely in the dark about the show’s biggest moments. He said, “I didn’t know about any of this. They kept it all, every element, a secret.” There was a live wedding ceremony as well as surprise appearances from Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin. “The only thing I knew,” Grutman said, “was to show that he loved America.”
