Over the years, David has remained relatively low-key in the music world. His last album, Therapy Sessions, came out in 2020. However, last year, they announced the release of a new EP titled Earthly Delights and a North American tour. It was preceded by the singles Creme Brulee and Can I Call You.
During his time on the famous Idol stage, David reprized popular songs such as John Lennon’s Imagine and We Can Work It Out. His audition song, which led him to Hollywood, was John Mayer’s Waiting on the World to Change.
Katy previously said that her song Wide Awake was partly inspired by her divorce from Russell Brand. In November, he released a song called Bandaids. That song reportedly alludes to her engagement to Orlando Bloom, which ended last summer. She says she “struggled for months” before releasing that song. It is said that the pop star is currently dating former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
