Below Deck Season 4 Episode 3 Recap: A New Arrival Changes Everything

welcome back, below deck below below Fans! Last week left us in a difficult position due to Alessia’s disappointment. This week, the cast of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City finally walked out, leaving a shockingly high, yet well-deserved tip in their wake. But when the boats are finally let loose to celebrate, drama immediately ensues, as seen on BDDU Season 4 Episode 3.

What happened in Below Deck Down Under Season 4 Episode 4?

Goodbye fights, makeup stains, cucumbers, and unicorns, and hello freedom. Still, this crew may not be enjoying their best, RHOSLC-free life. After two failed romantic interactions and a game gone wrong, everyone is at a loss. With matters not being helped, an attractive, familiar face returns to the ship, much to Jenna’s dismay.

For the sake of his career, Captain Jason wisely convinces Alessia to remain on board. Outside, Daisy and Mike prepare for their guests’ final breakfast. Mike admires Daisy, not only for her work ethic, but also because she is his ideal height… and blonde.

Alessia returns to the galley to help Ben prepare, while Captain Jason heads to the sundeck. He is leading his guests through a yoga session. Not surprisingly, his greeting was lacking, so he cut his lesson short. Ben is probably feeling his pain because in the galley, Alessia confesses that she “doesn’t want to be here.”

“Talk to me,” Ben pleads. Alessia does so, and after that, Ben apologizes for being “a little unpleasant to work with”. In response, Alessia apologizes for being “useless”. As of now, everything is fine.

Not just for the ladies of RHOSLC. As they pack up, Braunwyn and Meredith ceremoniously throw Brittany’s unicorn overboard. However, littering the sea is “a punishable offence”, so João takes it back immediately.

Captain Jason has an idea. She has made anonymous comment cards for her guests, which scares Daisy a bit. But she thinks it’s a good idea. So, she knocks out his form before the guests head to the breakfast table, where, once again, they immediately begin fighting.

In the end, the RHOSLC girls left “a little token” of their appreciation. Then, Daisy remembers Brittany’s unicorn and goes after it with it. The crew went inside, relieved, as their guests were getting away, still fighting.

Captain Jason reads their comment cards. He loved “Magic Mike.” Feelings like love are also present in Gale. Mike recently followed Alessia on Instagram.

During their first tip meeting, the crew celebrates. His tip is the biggest tip Captain Jason has “ever seen in (his) life”. That’s $35,000, which they all deserved. So, no one needs to wear a disco ball of reflection to the bar, says Captain Jason.

Jenna is a fan of older men like Ben, and Ben is a fan of Jenna. Similarly, Eddie is searching for Alessia, and he is excited to dance with her at the club.

They arrive, and Eddie immediately begins displaying his best “dad dancing” moves. Alessia joins him, matching his feelings. Back on the boat, Captain Jason’s trauma bond emerges. He’s sitting by the hot tub, watching RHOSLC.

Sparks keep flying in the club. But when Eddy drunkenly asks Alessia to kiss him, he learns that she has a boyfriend. Poor Eddie.

Later, the crew plays a round of Marry, Shag, Kill in the hot tub. Daisy will kill Ben, he notes. But when Alessia marks Ben for death as well, Ben responds, “I won’t kill myself for angering you.”

Instead, “(Ben) would just keep himself alive, just to upset (Alessia),” he comments. Daisy says, “You’re being a d*ck.” But Ben doesn’t care.

“There’s a thing called chef camaraderie,” he tells Alessia, “but you might not know about it, right? You can learn it one day.” Discouraged, Alessia declares, “I’ll never be a chef.” But Ben clapped back, arguing, “That’s strange, because you have chef written on your CV.”

Then, Ben starts crying. Everyone has disappointed him recently, including his ex-fiancée, who cheated on him with one of her friends. Daisy consoles Ben and agrees that he can sleep in the guest cabin. But she does not accept Mike’s kiss, much to Mike’s embarrassment.

In the morning, Jenna chats with Ben. She likes and understands him. But she still wants him to apologize to Alessia. Luckily, Ben is “up for it.”

Captain Jason checks in with Alessia. She reminds him, they’re a stew down. So, either she can become a stewardess, or Captain Jason needs to find a new chef, she says. He is upset, but doesn’t give up yet.

Mike apologizes for trying to kiss Daisy. She laughs, but explains that she doesn’t date people from her department. Mike leaves, and Captain Jason takes his place.

Daisy tells him about Alessia and Ben’s fight. He is happy to have Alessia join his team. But Captain Jason already has a new stew book. Hopefully, this boat wants to try her hand in the galley, he suggests, so yes, thankfully she does.

New guests are coming. For the first time, we see the Primarchs at their home in Connecticut talking about their journey. Then, Captain Jason delivers a CV, showing the crew who his new employee is. Much to Jenna’s dismay, Ben recognizes her.

Only two weeks ago, Ben fell into his thirst trap and reached into his DMs. “The power of expression,” he jokes, because this woman is now his assistant cook. Captain Jason calls Alessia into the wheelhouse and officially turns her into a stew. Then, Ben’s new assistant chef arrives, and she is Alana “Ellie” Dubach from Below Deck Mediterranean.

Kind. Here it is.
