Author Stephen King recently took a dig at US President Donald Trump on the occasion of President’s Day. King is known as a big critic of Trump. The author, known for books like The Shining and It, has also described Trump as a terrible person in one of his previous statements on social media.
Stephen King tweeted about Donald Trump
Stephen King recently wished his followers a Happy President’s Day on his X (formerly known as Twitter) account, but also called out Donald Trump.
In his tweet, King said, “Happy Presidents Day! I guess that also includes the brainless bag of courage and water currently residing in the defaced ruins of the People’s House.” Earlier, King has made many allegations against Trump and his policies. In another tweet, he called the US president “dumb” and said, “Trump=dumb as a stump. Thanks for bringing attention to this matter.”
Additionally, King has compared Trump to some of the villains who feature in his books. Trump’s recent actions, including his stances on Greenland and other political situations in the country, have prompted a number of celebrities to call out the president. Recently, a new survey revealed that his approval ratings among the younger demographic have also seen a sudden drop. The main reason for this is their desire to acquire Greenland.
Trump also made Post Wrote on Truth Social on President’s Day, “Happy President’s Day! Prices and inflation are way down. The stock market, and your 401k, are way up. Our military is strong and powerful, our law enforcement is great, and our border is 100% secure. Murders (year 1900!) and crime are at record lows, and our country is bigger, better, and stronger than ever!!! Working hard – enjoy your day President DJT.”
