A bidding war by streaming services will determine when it will be available. One of the singer’s biggest tours, the Mayhem Ball Tour consists of 87 performances across four continents.

Lady Gaga has hired British director Sam Wrench to lead filming and execute her vision Sun. The renowned director was behind the film of Taylor Swift’s record-breaking 2023 eras tour, which not only premiered on Disney+, but was shown in theaters around the world. Sam also directed Christina Aguilera’s Christmas in Paris special.
Lady Gaga and Sam have worked together on the Chromica Ball in 2024. The HBO special featured the “Poker Face” singer’s 2022 tour.
The Sun’s source said, “Gaga has poured her heart and soul into The Mayhem Ball. She’s extremely proud of everyone who’s helped make the tour what it is and is eager to give it the full concert film treatment. Not only is it arguably her most elaborate show to date, but it’s also reminded the world that nearly two decades into her career, she’s still at the top of her game.” He said it was the close relationship of the two that strengthened the new film venture. “The show will be filmed over their four dates in Los Angeles and is planned for release in late 2026,” the source said.
Sam will manage the project with Gaga’s fiancé, Michael Polanski, and her choreographer, Parris Goebel.
The versatile singer and actress performed four sold-out O2 shows in London last September and October. After their final April Madison Square Garden show, 1.3 fans are expected to have seen the tour.
In Gaga’s busy 2026, she has filmed an Apple Music concert special and sung at both the Super Bowl and the Grammys. They also completed The Mayhem Ball Tour in Asia.
