The longtime Bravo star recently sat down with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live and she made a surprising statement about the rift between Shamia Morton and Porsha Williams on Season 16. According to her, she was not surprised to see this, and would not be surprised if things did not improve in the next season.

For longtime RHOA fans, watching Porsha and Shamia feud in Season 16 felt extremely surprising and a little painful. Shamea spent all these years on the sidelines of the show, showing off her real-life relationship with Porsha, but eventually got caught up in a scandalous feud when she got her peach.
Over the course of Season 16, we learned there was more to this friendship than we previously knew. Their mothers had years-old beefs of their own, and the pressures of reality TV didn’t help the situation.
During the February 22 episode of WWHL, a fan asked Kandi about her thoughts on the Porsha and Shamia drama. Only then did he admit that he was not surprised to see them fall.
“To be honest, I’m not surprised,” Candy admitted. “That’s because whenever there are moments in your friendship that are somewhat unstable, being on a reality show will make it even worse.”
He added, “You’re not really able to compromise without discussing things with other people in front of the world, and then it makes it more intense.”
Spoken like a true experienced housewife! When asked if the former besties could recover from their friendship, Kandi gave a bleak prediction. Based on some of the tea she heard about Season 17, she thinks we’ll see them stoop even further.
Kandi explained, “Do I think it’s going to get better? No, because I heard some things you’ll get next season, and oops. Much worse!”
