It appears that some new protocols have also been implemented, making this party even more exclusive.
Donald Trump family not invited to Vanity Fair’s Oscars party, sources say
Vanity Fair’s Oscars party will now accommodate half the originally planned guests. page six has reported that the Trump administration is among the list of guests who have been removed from this year’s party. President Donald TrumpAccording to Page Six, First Lady Melania Trump and senior Trump officials will no longer be invited to the party.
It comes under the leadership of Mark Guiducci, who took over the role of global editorial director from Radhika Jones in June last year. Under Guiducci, the party is returning to its roots by including only top-tier Hollywood talent and real people Oscar winner.
Page Six further reported that Guiducci planned to remove attendees who are famous for power or politics rather than film accomplishments. This year, only celebrities with personal invitations or the actual Oscar statuette are expected to get in.
One insider said of past years’ parties, “A-list names are still visible, but they have increasingly shared the room with brand partners, media buyers, press and industry insiders.”
Additionally, reports also state that this year’s Vanity Fair Oscar party will not be as press-friendly as previous years. Reports say the press will be kept outside the main party area and use of social media inside will be restricted, further increasing the appeal of the desired party.
As in other years, the Vanity Fair party will take place after the main Oscars ceremony on March 15, 2026. It will be held at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA).
