And Amanda wasn’t thrilled. So, when Kyle apologized for his behavior, Amanda laid down the law. He told Kyle what changes he needed to make to make things work.
Amanda Batula makes her thoughts clear to husband Kyle Cooke
Kyle and Amanda’s failure to communicate has been a theme of the season. Kyle felt that Amanda had shown no interest in him, while Amanda felt that Kyle had shown no interest in her. Additionally, Amanda had to deal with rumors of Kyle allegedly showing interest in other girls.
Amanda brought this complaint to Kyle while they were at the beach. She also revealed that she needed him to get control of her drinking. However, Kyle didn’t think any of these issues were a problem.
The day after Kyle apologized again, Amanda told him what else he needed to change. Kyle tells Amanda, “I’m sorry about yesterday. I don’t know; I don’t think I’m any good. Even these past two nights have been the most drunk nights I’ve had in a year.”
Amanda said, “That’s not true, but okay. I’m not even getting into all this, but I’m more worried about you blaming me for everything. And you have so many other things going on in your life.”
When Kyle was brought up Amanda didn’t know what was going on in his life because she didn’t ask her. She said, “You make me seem like I’m this horrible person and make it seem like I never do this or I always do that.”
“I’m not just sitting here making things up,” Kyle said. Amanda responded, “You are. And if you’re so unhappy with me, I won’t understand it.”
