Now, Ben is on his mind, while the rest of the crew is letting loose. Here’s what happened in BDDU Season 4 Episode 5.
What happened in Below Deck Down Under Season 4 Episode 5?
Nothing is going right in the galley according to time. So now, Ben is feeling the pressure. Meanwhile, several crushes are forming on the yacht, one of which appears to beat Alessia. So, she picks up her phone and turns on Power Play, ending Episode 5 on a somber note.

Daisy is coming unglued. The guest’s lunch is late, and Annette, the co-primary, is overheating. While not helping, Edie is taking her sweet time getting her swimsuit. Realizing that they are “skating on thin ice”, Captain Jason enters the galley, and offers Ben and Ellie a hand.
Captain Jason delivers food to the beach right after Eddy arrives with her swimsuit. As of now, everything is fine.
After their guests’ needs are finally met, Daisy and João make predictions for their first night. João guesses that Eddy will try to flirt with Alessia, even though she has a boyfriend. The camera returns to the boat, showing Eddy breaking Alessia’s back (literally, not the Gen Z definition).
Joao reminds Daisy that Mike tried to kiss her. Daisy laughs, but she doesn’t “spoil the crew.” However, Joao “does not believe so”. She’s right, Daisy believes, while the camera shows her previous conversation with the bun-loving boy.
In his interview, Joao admitted that Daisy is different. He likes working with them. In her book Daisy says the same thing about Joao. interesting …
Tension rises in the galley

It is the birthday of the chief guest. Ellie worked in her cousin’s sweet shop, so she would help with Christian’s cakes. But she can’t eat it. He likes his abs.
To apologize for his failures, Ben orders fresh fish. He’s going to fillet a 17-pound salt snapper right in front of the guests that night. As he tells Daisy his plan, which includes a promise to get things done quickly, Daisy smiles, but she is secretly “nervous”.
Daisy sends Mike out to help the deck team. As Mike works, his radio falls into the ocean. He goes back inside and starts cleaning the bar, and then he goes to his cabin to trim his nose hair. The problem with Mike is, if you give him a gray area, he’ll take advantage of it,” says Joao.
Tonight’s birthday dinner is based on denim and diamond theme. Jenna took up the role, which Ben appreciates. But Allie needs Jenna to bring some plates. “Okay, Your Majesty,” Xena replies dryly.
Ellie thinks that Jenna is “trying to establish herself above me.” Ugh. Here we proceed again with a hierarchical story.
The guests are sitting down to dinner, but Daisy’s radio is out of order. Ben doesn’t understand him. She heads downstairs, where she sees Ben moving at a “snail’s pace”. She tries to speed it up, but the first dish is still 30 minutes late.
The stagnation and lateness continue, and now, Ben and Daisy are at each other’s throats. Captain Jason is also disappointed. He is having dinner with guests and finds “waiting between dishes” appalling. Thankfully, guests still enjoyed everything, including the cake, which Ellie did a solid job of decorating.

In the morning, Eddy greets Alessia with a hug. Outside, Daisy welcomes her guests with breakfast. Daisy notes that there are comment cards waiting for her in her cabin.
“Hello, darling,” Ben says to Jenna, who is standing beside him on the pier. But just then, Ellie arrives and gets stuck between them. Jenna’s silent glow speaks volumes.
The guests leave. Christian has kind words for the crew, but as they leave, Annette disagrees with her husband. The camera focuses on the comment card box, complete with ominous music.
Sure enough, his cards all called out, and he only left a $20k tip. Daisy was “not surprised.” Ben’s “lack of urgency is literally getting him killed”. Nevertheless, Captain Jason gives Mike a disco ball helmet after he discreetly dropped his radio in his drink.
The crew capsizes the boat, leaving Ben behind. He’s reading each comment card, slowly sinking into himself.
Crushing Crew Members and a Jealous Lesson on Below Deck Down Under

Ben doesn’t want to hang himself. Instead, he “rests” in a guest cabin.
Everyone else leaves. Eddie buys Alessia a drink. Across the room, Ellie wants to “merge” her “genetics” with João’s. At the table, Jenna puts her arm around Eddie, causing Alessia to sigh.
Completely breaking down every piece of ice on every continent, Ellie asks the women who squirts out of them. Mike appreciates her energy. They briefly “peck.”
However, Alessia does not appreciate the photos that Mike and Jenna are taking. She joins him as his third wheel. Later, in the hot tub, the crew plays a round of Truth or Dare. As a result, Joao loses his swimsuit and kisses Daisy, while Edie kisses Jenna.
Eddie and Jenna continue kissing in her cabin, which Alessia witnesses. Later, from her bed, Alessia sends a message to Eddy, in which she confesses that she is stuck in her head and needs to get out. Eddie replies, “Believe me when I say, I can’t stop looking at you.” But when Alessia reminded him about Jenna, Eddie wrote, “I’d give her up in a second to be an alien with you.”
Alessia turns over and says goodnight to Jenna. His work here is complete.
