Lily Allen’s The much-awaited tour did not get off to a good start. David Harbour’s estranged wife kicked off Lily Allen: Performs West End Girl Show on Monday. It is in support of her fifth studio album titled West End Girl.
That album received good reviews from critics and fans. Nevertheless, the fans who attended his inauguration ceremony were not as well received as they expected. West End Girl earned a gold certification in the UK. It was also nominated for British Album of the Year at the 2025 Brit Awards.

People attending Lily’s first show on Monday will feel a little cheated. This is because the singer performed for only 45 minutes. This is approximately equal to the total length of all 14 tracks on West End Girl.
Her album documents the breakdown of her marriage to the Stranger Things actor. In October, Lily admitted to struggling with her mental health following her breakup. Reports suggest that during their time together, David was on the dating app Raya. Mental health is something Lily has spoken openly about as a part of her life that has been a constant battle.
While fans were expecting other songs or at least a little more banter from Lily at her initial show, the singer did alert audiences in advance about her upcoming concerts. The Smile singer had said that she would only perform songs from her new album. The total running time of West End Girl is just over 44 minutes. Additionally, Lily said that there will be no opening shows when she’s on the road.
Nevertheless, many expressed disappointment with his short concert, calling it unacceptable. In total, Lily will perform 48 times from the West End Girl songbook, stopping in Canada and the United States throughout April. Their tour will conclude with a concert in Perth, Australia on 1 November.
