She is currently suffering from pneumonia infection and has been admitted to the hospital. The reality star drag queen shared the worrying news on Instagram, and fans are rallying around her to wish her a speedy recovery.
Drag Race Down Under’s Anita Wiglit is confident she will make a full recovery
Anita shared her health update through Instagram Stories. He uploaded a photo of himself lying on a hospital bed with a breathing tube strapped to his face. She also included a message to let her fans know what they are going through.
“Some not-so-good news, sorry,” she began.
Anita, who appeared on Drag Race Down Under Season 1 along with Canada’s Drag Race: Canada vs. the World, revealed that doctors diagnosed her with pneumonia. This is an infection that can prove fatal without proper care, but fortunately, Anita appears to be in good hands and spirits.
“The good news is that the diagnosis came today, so specific treatments can begin,” Anita explained in her post.
The bad news is that this health emergency has forced him to miss some upcoming events. Rani needs a rest, but she will soon be ready to light up the stages again.
“Unfortunately, I will be here for at least 24 hours before I can recover at home,” Anita said.
