last week southern charmSally and Austen eventually fall out. Craig and Venita continue to fight. Charlie was not happy with Craig’s behavior, but he also did not want to be his “protector”. She was also not happy with Sally, who once again tried to talk about how Craig affected their friendship. While returning home in the van, Craig completely loses sight of Sally, while Charlie watches in horror.
What happened in Southern Charm Season 11 Episode 14?

This week on Southern Charm season 11 episode 14, “About Last Night”, the group is still dealing with Craig’s anger. Charlie announces that he has formed an affair with her. Before leaving for Mexico, Shep tries to bring the group back together through an elaborate healing ceremony.
Southern Charm cast reacts to Craig’s meltdown

The episode starts where we left off in the van. Craig continues to berate Sally, who is in tears. Rodrigo tries to stop him. Austin tells Sally to stop crying, because Craig is not worth her tears.
Sally is in shock upon reaching the hotel, while the other van realizes what happened. Shep and Molly agree that if this doesn’t make Charlie reconsider her romance with Craig, nothing will.
The next day, Sally calls Madison to come over to her. Madison is completely happy with her family. Teddy’s arrival makes her fall even more in love with Brett.
Sally is the first to share the good news that she hooked up with Austen. Madison knew this would happen… well, she thought they’d do more than make out. Later, Madison messages Austen that she is a slut.
When she learns of Craig’s meltdown, Madison recalls her experience with that side of him. Sally says that no one in the group holds Craig accountable because they are so afraid of him.
Charlie processes Craig’s anger in yoga practice with Molly and Venita. Venita jokes that Craig should take a yoga class… but not with any of them. Charlie reveals that this was the final straw. When Craig got angry before, she could at least see his reasons. But in the van, he got nervous about something. This was too much of a red flag, so she formed a romantic relationship with Craig. For the remainder of the episode, Charlie avoids Craig, but she can sense that he is not picking up on the messages.
shep feels for craig

The next morning, Shep tries to call Craig to go fishing, but his door is locked and he doesn’t answer. While everyone else is mostly worried about Sally, Shep is thinking about Craig. It seems as if he is projecting somewhat when he brings up how he got into this situation due to his own drunkenness. Shep is convinced that Craig already feels bad enough about his behavior and that he does not need to become a pariah. Austen thinks Craig is unconscious and doesn’t feel bad yelling at Sally.
Whitner thinks Shep is enabling Craig. If Craig keeps avoiding this behavior, he will never change. Shepp is hopeful that spiritual healing might work, but Whitner calls it a “big challenge.”
Is Craig sorry for his anger?

That afternoon, Sally and Austin agree that Craig is not one to apologize for his behavior. Instead, he never wants to talk about it. Sally hopes the healing retreat will somehow reach them.
Craig has lunch with Whitney. He calls himself “totally imperfect” and admits that drinking alcohol for 12 hours straight was not a good idea. He hates when he gets aroused like this, but he also doesn’t want to berate himself for messing up for what he claims is the first time in two years. When Whitney encourages him to apologize, he asks, “To whom?” Craig also says that if Sally had not been there, he and Charlie would have gone further in their relationship. I can already see him blaming Sally for Charlie’s change of heart.
If the Southern Charm cast can’t stand the heat, get out of the sweat lodge

For his last night in Mexico, Shep plans a treatment camp. Whitney, who hates hippies, is irate about this. Before they left, Molly had another totally relatable moment while applying makeup. “I don’t even look different! The makeup is so stupid,” she comments. Is there any doubt that Molly is the queen of season 11?
The healing retreat begins with a cleansing smoke ritual. Sally and Venita joke that Craig will need a lot of smoke to purify his soul. Shep recalls how important this step was before his Ayahuasca journey.
The next step is the sweat lodge. Molly and Whitney go for massages instead (as do I). The rest enter the hut for about 75 minutes. “If anyone is wondering what hell feels like, it’s probably about two degrees away from it,” jokes Venita.
Craig leaves early, and while Sally says she needed it most, when he leaves he looks red as a tomato, so I don’t blame him. Whitner soon passes out. But the others who stayed loved the experience. Austen believes this was a bonding moment. Venita says it was one of the most beautiful things she has ever done. Charlie says she has no ideas after that, and Sally agrees… well, except for her thoughts about Austen in the shower. Speaking out, Austin told Whitner in the shower that he realized he needed to be more decisive. Whitner tells him Craig wants the same. “Okay, I want him to go to anger management,” Austin responded.
let’s start the treatment

In what seems like an omen, a terrible storm interrupts the next phase of the healing ceremony. Once they are inside, they have a ceremony with cocoa drinks. Hearing the sound bowls, Molly jokes that she should have brought her tuba.
Then spirit guide Victoria asked them to walk around the room with their eyes closed. She encourages everyone to hold someone’s hand and to respect and be grateful for those hands.
Venita and Craig hold each other’s hands, and once they open their eyes, both share a look that says “…No.” Venita comments, “It’s like the gods are saying fix it or get out… and I want out.”
Can holding hands fix Austin and Craig’s friendship?

After this, Austen and Craig hold hands, as Victoria encourages them to remember their past. We’re reminded of Austen’s nightmarish birthday dinner. But seeing Austen and Craig holding each other warmed Shep’s heart. When they open their eyes, Craig and Austin can’t help but laugh. Craig says it brings back memories of how close they were for so long. The show then reminisces about Austen and Craig’s good times over the years (which, notably, goes back at least four seasons). Austen says it’s good to feel connected again, and it could be the first step toward healing, but he doesn’t seem convinced. Nostradamus doesn’t need to predict that it won’t last.
Victoria then encourages the group to hug someone. Shep embraces Craig, convinced that this is all he needs. An emotional Shep described it as the most genuine and powerful hug she had ever received. He wants to reassure Craig that he will be okay. Finally, everyone in the group joins hands in a circle and jump together. Whitney joins in on that last part.
Molly and Whitner immediately stated that the healing ceremony would do nothing to fix this group’s problems. And they have been proven right. Because next week there will be another explosive fight between Craig and Austen in the Southern Charm season 11 finale.
