Khloe Kardashian believes her girls need a sister
Khloe Kardashian shares son Tatum and daughter True with ex Tristan Thompson. She is now considering whether to have a third child, as she believes her daughter needs a sister. The reality TV star shared her thoughts during a Q&A on her podcast “Khloé in Wonderland.”
During the March 4 episode, while answering the question “would she ever have another child” with her partner, the Hulu personality said “I would say never,” but that she would “like to get married and have kids” in the future. However, she then said that if she doesn’t get married, she may go the surrogate route because she has “a few more embryos in the freezer.”
“I don’t think I have the energy for another baby, but I think girls need sisters,” Kardashian admitted. “It might be how I grew up, like I thought Tatum would be OK, but a girl needs her sister, and I think that was probably my experience.”
Kardashian then addressed the topic further, saying that she feels she still has “one girl left” and that she is “considering” whether she should do it herself. However, she is unsure “whether emotionally” she “will be able to handle it.” “It’s just an idea. I don’t think it’s going to happen, because I don’t have the energy,” the podcaster said.
The Khloud co-founder also confessed, “I was thinking, I would carry the baby to a surrogate, and I think I would have a very different experience because I would be along for that surrogate journey, as opposed to all the trauma associated with Tatum’s surrogate experience.”
However, he immediately made it clear that when “you insert the embryo, there is no guarantee that it will take.” Despite this, Kardashian is willing to “give it a try.” But if that doesn’t happen, she will assume that “God doesn’t want me to have another child, and that’s okay”. Then, she insisted, “I don’t think I have the emotional capacity.”
