A law enforcement source told the Los Angeles Times that Rihanna was home at the time. No outlets reported injuries.

Authorities reportedly arrested 35-year-old Ivanna Lisette Ortiz in connection with the incident, with TMZ reporting that police have charged Ortiz with attempted murder. Meanwhile, several outlets including the BBC and Los Angeles TimesBail was reported at approximately $10.2 million.
Additionally, the Los Angeles Times reported that the suspect allegedly used an AR-15-style weapon and fired from a vehicle toward the home, and one bullet penetrated the wall of the mansion. Police located the suspect’s vehicle shortly after the shooting. BBC News reported that officers found a white Tesla about eight miles away at the Sherman Oaks Galleria shopping center, where they took Ortiz into custody.
The Los Angeles Times includes a statement from LAPD spokesperson Armen Arias detailing what officers found after the arrest, with Arias telling the tabloid, “When they pulled the suspect over and took him into custody, they searched the vehicle and found an assault rifle and seven shell casings.”
Authorities have not yet announced a motive, and reports claim there is no connection between Ortiz and Rihanna. However, TMZ and the Los Angeles Times reported that Ortiz had posted online about Rihanna before allegedly shooting her at her Beverly Hills mansion.
