Kandi and Todd’s landlord have been fighting them in court for over a year. The landlord initially claimed the couple owed more than $200,000 in back rent and repair costs.

According to court documents reviewed by tmzBurruss Tucker Restaurant Group has reached a settlement. They have agreed to pay the landlord $140,509.10.

Much of this lawsuit revolves around certain repairs that needed to be completed at the restaurant. In addition to more than $150,000 in unpaid rent, the landlord said he spent $57,000 on repairs, which Kandi and Todd neglected to complete. The lawsuit makes it seem as if the RHOA alum was letting the place fall into disrepair and leaving their landlord to pay the bills.

In a countersuit, Burruss Tucker Restaurant Group argued that necessary repairs to the building were not its responsibility. The renovation was more than just fresh paint or a new roof. It was experiencing foundation and plumbing issues, and his lawyers said those costs should be paid to the property owner, not the tenant.

This newly agreed upon settlement puts an end to all this, so the counterclaim is dismissed, and they all move on. In the meantime, there’s no word on whether Blaze Steak & Seafood will ever get a second chance at glory. It remains closed.
