There’s nothing better than a taste of sweet, sweet revenge, and Kate got plenty in the latest episode house of villains. She’s the captain of this ship—at least for this episode.
When we last left off, Plain Jane was thrown out by a 5-1 vote, and the brothers’ alliance seemed unstoppable. They’ve had four straight episodes of running things in the den, with all the fabulous women and lesbians nominated. Get on your knees and thank the reality TV gods that things changed in House of Villains Season 3 Episode 5, “Loose Lips Sink Swan Boats.”
What happened in House of Villains Season 3 Episode 5?

After narrowly escaping the hit list, Kate embarks on a mission to get back, and the timing couldn’t have been better. Tyson and his best friend, Sandoval, were ready to break away from Paul, Johnny, and Ashley, giving Kate the perfect opportunity to retaliate. Luckily, she managed to get a little strength just in time. The tide has officially turned.
Tyson and Sandoval are jumping ship

There’s a power struggle going on in the house of villains and Tyson is right in the middle of it. He begins Season 3 as the first supervillain and immediately allies himself with Sandoval, Paul, and Johnny. Ashley jumped on the bandwagon with him and has been involved with Johnny ever since. With this, all the women, including Plain Jane, agreed to be removed one by one.
After the plane was finished, the numbers changed. Paul, Johnny, and Ashley, who were all roommates, gained an unequal sense of power. With this in mind, Tyson puts on his Survivor hat, and realizes it’s time to switch tribes. She and Sandoval were ready to jump ship and team up with Kate and maybe New York, depending on how she was feeling that day.
From destroyer to supervisor

To help break up this Ashley/Paul/Johnny alliance, Tyson and Kate hatch a plan to make sure all three of them have no power in the house. Kate said that she would fail the battle royale challenge just like she did in The Traitors. Watch footage of him literally throwing away money and urinating the entire palace.
The funny thing is that Kate’s plan to fail the challenge didn’t work out as expected. She actually won the challenge and became the supervillain of the week.
The challenge involved a messy game of telephone, and all the players were terrible at it. The fact that Johnny was stuck in his tiny weeny shorts, Ashley was slowly succumbing to a mystery illness, and New York wasn’t taking the challenge 100% seriously made it easier for Kate to win.
Of course, with great power comes great responsibility, and Kate finally got some of it. She and Tyson couldn’t be more thrilled. On the other hand, Johnny? He knows very well that he should be afraid.
Kate hosted Office Hours

If you haven’t seen Kate on Below Deck in years, this episode of HOV may make you want to open the Bravo Vault. She was giving energy to the main character throughout this entire episode, and every part of it was perfect.
After winning Supervillain of the Week, she took Drita and Sandoval out for a ride on some swan-shaped paddle boats. They discussed who he should put on the hit list, and Sandoval made it clear that he would remain loyal to Tyson to the end. This bromance is solid.
When they returned to the lair, Kate decided to convert the supervillain’s suite into an “office”. He dimmed the lights and asked everyone to come inside and present their case as to why they should not go on the hit list. She was a bitch. It was dramatic. Kate is in her element on this show.
Not only did the villains get a chance to present their case to Kate, but she also left a suggestion box at the door. Anyone can leave their hit list recommendation, but they definitely don’t need help.
Who does Kate put on her hit list in House of Villains Season 3 Episode 5?

Kate nominated Jonny, Ashley and Paul for the hit list in a direct attack on the house’s strongest alliance. Things are going exactly as Tyson had planned.
All strategies aside, these nominations were kind of a no-brainer for Kate. Just last week, Johnny had put him in the hit list. Paul signed it, and Ashley is just…Ashley.
Reportedly, they were also the three people whose names came up the most in Kate’s suggestion box. Paul took credit for this, claiming that he had written down the names of both Johnny and Ashley. We’re not sure what the strategy is there. They may just be determined to become agents of anarchy.
As per House of Villains tradition, the three villains from the hit list had to deliver a few blows to the supervillain of the week, as if it was going to give them any advantage in the grand scheme of things. Ashley’s comments about Below Deck or “below decks” as Jonny used to say were the worst.
Ashley said, “I’m very open and nice to everyone and you judge people because you once worked on a rich boat.” “I think she’s forgotten that she doesn’t own the boats she works on.”
She added, “Lay down your guard around the house and have a good time. Try to smile once in a while. It’ll really loosen up your ass a little bit.
Kate, completely nonchalant, answered like she was Andy Cohen on a Real Housewives reunion.
“We have to move,” Kate said.
house of villains Continues next Thursday at 9/8c on Peacock.
