After welcoming their son Kayden into the world in June 2025, the Below Deck parents said they are ready to raise their child together. Even though they both live on different continents, they seemed determined to make it work. He also shared a family photo in November 2025.
Fast forward to March 2026, and it looks like things may have changed. Fans on the r/BelowDeck subreddit have pointed out some clues that the two may have gone their separate ways.
First and foremost, Gail has unfollowed Nathan on Instagram. There is a very high risk that something has gone horribly wrong in the relationship.
While Nathan started off 2026 by announcing a six-month social media break, that’s no reason to unfollow the father of your newborn baby.
Meanwhile, Nathan appeared to be breaking his social media hiatus, and some fans think it was a subtle hint at the state of things with Gayle. He shared a POV photo from a yacht accompanied by the song Elijah the Boy. At least it can be said that the lyrics of the song were interesting.
The lyrics are, “And my ex-girlfriend blocked me, but I know she’s peeping.”
Those lyrics sound edgy, don’t they? It seems as if the guy is desperate to let the world know that he is single. However, as Bravo The Daily Dish Reportedly, Nathan and Gail were together just last week, so this could all be a coincidence.
Nathan broke his social media break again on March 12 to share a photo of Kayden spending the day at the zoo. In the photos, little Kayden was clutched to Gayle’s chest, and they looked like a happy little family!
With all this in mind, the state of things between Gail and Nathan remains a bit uncertain. Are they co-parents? Are they lovers? Whatever happens, we just hope they’re happy.
